1. Information We Collect
Contact form. If you contact us through our Support page, we collect the name, email address, subject, and message you provide, solely so we can respond to your enquiry.
Analytics. With your consent, we use a privacy-focused analytics tool (Umami) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, referring site, browser type, and country-level location. This data is aggregated and anonymous: no cookies are used for tracking, no personal data is collected, and nothing is shared with advertising networks. If you decline analytics in the cookie banner, no analytics script is loaded at all.
Server logs. Like most websites, our hosting infrastructure may record standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) for security and operational purposes. These are retained only as long as needed for those purposes.
2. What We Don't Do
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information. We do not use advertising trackers. Our software images do not "phone home" — once you deploy a CloudSOE image in your cloud account, it runs entirely within your environment and we have no access to it or to any data it processes.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information described above only to respond to your enquiries, operate and improve the website, and maintain the security of our services. We do not use it for profiling or automated decision-making.
4. Cookies and Consent
We show a consent banner before loading analytics. Your choice is stored in your browser's local storage so we don't ask again. You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's site data for cloudsoe.com, which will cause the banner to reappear on your next visit.
5. Third-Party Services
Purchases of our products are made through the AWS Marketplace or Azure Marketplace. Those transactions are handled by Amazon and Microsoft under their own privacy policies — we receive only the limited information the marketplace provides to sellers. Our contact form is processed by a form handling service on our behalf, used solely for delivering your message to us.
6. Data Retention
We keep contact enquiries only as long as needed to handle your request and for reasonable record-keeping. Aggregated analytics data contains no personal information and may be retained for trend analysis.
7. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you, or to object to its processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@cloudsoe.com and we will respond promptly.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the limited information we hold. The site is served over HTTPS, and access to enquiry data is restricted to those who need it to respond to you.
9. Children
Our website and products are intended for business and professional use and are not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. Changes to This Policy
If we change this policy, we will post the updated version here with a new effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on this page.
